This slide shows the undeveloped parcels along the Chimacum Creek corridor, and their proximity to the intensely platted land directly southeast in Hadlock and Irondale. The blue color shows the very small number currently classified as park or open space dedications along this creek.
The brownish color shows parcels that have not yet been developed. The orange color indicates residential and the red indicates commercial zoning.
Funding is already allocated to acquire the property indicated by the band of brown color along the creek near the mouth to provide fish habitat and efforts totaling nearly 2 million dollars are currently underway through Jefferson Land Trust to acquire other land along the creek through fee simple purchases or conservation easements.
