Lowell and I used to hike, ski, kayak and do interesting slide-shows and take pictures together. He shot this protrait in the Olympic Mountains near the divide between the Quilcene River Trail that leads to Marmot Pass and the Silverlake Basin - on pretty much the last real hike we did together.
