This proposal reflects unequivocal and unprecedented multiparty support from the outset. The GMA Community Planning effort identified broad public support of this project several years ago.
This spring, representatives from stakeholder organizations working on restoration and park and recreation development efforts sat down with BOCC and hammered out agreement on goals before proposal was begun. JLT, BOCC, NOSC, TACC, WOS, HCC, TU, JCPAB, and JC Pwks were all at the table.
Three public meetings to discussion potential availability and options for site.
Parks Advisory Board, JLT Board of Directors, NOSC, WOS, as well as meetings with land buyers from WDF.
Even the most aggressive of the fish habitat groups are in favor of this project
Letters of support have been promised by all listed entities and more, and many have been received in time to be photographed or scanned.
